A slow and non action episode this week but you can be sure now that Luo Feng is successful next week "should" be a bit more interesting, if you want to know more just go to last week's episode where I have summarised a bit of what is to come based on what was in the novel otherwise:

Now that everyone believes he is dead, while Luo Feng's family and Xu Xin still hopes that isnt true
- Luo Hua sells one of those spirits of nature and buys shares in a bank becoming a large shareholder, with that status he also has a private army that protects them, but his father is still injured and mother cant sleep because of over worrying
- Xu Xin withdraws from studying at uni or college and becomes depressed
- Hong takes back the jet fighter and the black armour set
- Feng comes out after a year and three months, he has a very long beard and is covered with grime, he shocks those guarding and researching the site and takes a shower. He has been surviving only on water given to him by the AI (dont ask me whether he pooped or what I dunno :P) He calls his family and finds Luo Hua is hiding something from him
- Xu Xin is at a cafe when a random guy tried to hit on her by asking to borrow her phone when she tells him to get lost, the phone rings with a sad ringtone (later on we find out it is "Tomorrow I will marry you" sang by Wong Fei ) and the caller ID shows it is Luo Feng with his picture profile. The guy thinks to himself the picture looks like a man that looked like a pighead at a remote site where it should be infested with monsters
- Pighead... I mean Luo Feng calling, his call causes her to be very happy and she begins to smile again
- Relevant authorities are notified by the people at the site that he has returned
- Hong quickly returns the armour and jet fighter upon hearing he has returned, and personally sets out to greet Luo Feng
- Luo Feng gives a set of black god armor as promised to Hong, unaware of Hong's actions, Hong is relieved that Luo Feng is safe and sound and a little embarrassed for his previous action

Just wondering, does Xu Xin return to university once he returns or is this the start of the business with Hua?

She decides not to return to uni, as she felt that she has learned all she can through studies and believes that practical experience is more important, so she goes and work. She was in Kyoto when Luo Feng called, and returned immediately out in the cold... just to see him, this is one of the few moments Luo Feng realises he hasnt treated her as well as he could if it was another guy that is with her

She tells him that no matter how much danger he is in or get into, he needs to let him now, even if it meant that he will worry her, she wants to know

Besides if she decides to return it would have been difficult unless she uses her family connections which she wont. So she decides to start her own company, even though her family wants her to run their family company (I am not sure if it mean she will be the boss of her big brother since the author wasnt too clear, but I took it as helping the family business and taking an executive role), she believed that if she ran her own company she will gain more experience by learning from the bottom and progress upwards then take over the family company. I am not sure if she ever does go back to her family business but when Luo Feng enters the Virtual Network Company (the biggest in the multiverse and also a VR multiverse as well) she decides to form a company with Luo Hua
Her management skills along with Luo Hua's profit making brains forms a formidable team that pretty much dominates over HR alliance (then again Luo Feng's investments and connections in the multiverse out strips any value the HR alliance has lol)

I'm just a little surprised they didn't throw in anything like she took a break from university due to extenuating circumstances before returning to complete her studies. The way it plays out makes it look like they are advertising that it is ok for students to drop out.

You would think that the author would know these things since he's also been to uni (although he dropped out of his Math Major during his third year) and surely he would have some friends or know of people that defers their studies due to extenuating circumstances, but it doesnt surprise me since he is very forgetful as show many times in his writing and plots (he forgets the characters and certain plot elements) lol

Fun Fact - he doesnt have a grasp of distances and volume even when he majored in math, everything he describes are in millions and billions
Might be the reason why he dropped out lol

Furthermore there will be others in the future that he will fight in for various reasons, if you want specific tournament events, you will just have to wait for it to be animated or someone else to tell you, I dont have the time to go through the novel

Fandom is a total hot mess, since it started off with bare minimal information and then I believe either the original host shaped up and started working on it or someone took over, it still pretty barebones at the moment, so finding information there depends on how lucky you are

The most prominent one that is closest to the series but might not be in this season is when Luo Feng, Hong and Leishen competes in a tournament where warriors from different parts of the universe competes, it is where people from Earth gets to see (through a VR system) a competition of an universal scale. Xu Xun's brother cheers him on in Luo Feng's family castle (yeah he buys a castle from an alien planet and has it move to Earth), I cant remember what the tournament is for, but I think it is either to enter a small world or to be able to join the biggest company in the entire multiverse, being part of the company will mean better cultivation resources and teachings

that really depends on location... I have to stay up Tuesday nights till around 3am if I want to watch it shortly after it's first uploaded online and then again on Wednesday's to watch the subbed version.

Even novel kept this part about disappearance 1/2 chapter only, because it is single most boring part. Whole this testing event was barely few paragraphs more than 1 chapter.

It is still alright if they do that for short novel like SL (336 chapters). This one has 1488 chapters. Who will ever live long enough to see the end with progress like that

Hard to say, novel is first tagged as "Volume X Chapter Y" and later abandons volumes. Also, 1st 4 are shorter and then their length increases with each volume, not to mention S1 skipped quite nicely over the story to produce decent pace. S2 didn't cover even half of that progress, not to mention they spent whole episodes to non content like hamburger date

I'm kind of lazy so I'll just note the point where numbering changes... "Vol.11 Ch.39" >> "Ch.479"

Damn, forgot... silly me... Right now animation is somewhere at 1/3 of 6th volume

p.s. Normal usual progress is around 2 chapters for those short animations that have 4 min content.

First word of warning, in terms of novel quality... it starts awesome (until reaching universe), then goes bland (first adventures in universe), then bad and at late point it seems like author has completely lost touch with the story (I dropped it 200 chapters before the end)
